Turn raw footage from BMLSIA events, lessons, and stories into sharp, captioned videos people actually watch.
BMLSIA trains biomedical scientists to build tech driven health solutions. Our events, workshops, and fellows’ wins happen on camera. The footage is only half the story. The edit is the other half.
As Video Editor, you turn raw clips into short, clean, scroll stopping videos for our social channels, website, and community. You work closely with the Communications Lead and Content Writer, and with other team members when needed, so every video matches the message and the voice of BMLSIA.
You will cut event recaps, short form reels, announcements, educational clips, and member stories. Fast turnaround, clean sound, and readable captions matter more to us than flashy effects.
This role is for an editor who is organized, quick, and has a good eye for pacing. If you can make a two hour event feel like a sixty second story, you belong here.
