Round 1 is openClass of 2027

Become a BMLSIA Ambassador.

Start a HealthTech club, run outreaches, and bring your classmates into a community of scientists who build things. Round 1 is open to students in every field, anywhere in the world, and we especially want to hear from health sciences students.

How applying works

Four stages. You're starting at the first.

  1. 1

    Round 1: ApplyYou are here

Fill in the form below. It takes about 15 minutes, and you can apply once per email address.

  2. 2

    We review

Our team reads every application. You'll hear from us by email, whatever the outcome.

  3. 3

    Round 2

Shortlisted applicants get an email with the next step. If you want to lead your campus, this is where you send us three short videos: who you are, a health problem on your campus, and how you'd run your club. Share them as unlisted YouTube links or public Google Drive links.

  4. 4

    Welcome aboard

Selected ambassadors get a BMLSIA account with an Ambassador badge and join their campus HealthTech Club.

What ambassadors actually do

You're BMLSIA's person on the ground, at your school, in your city, in your country or abroad. Here's what that looks like, and there's usually more, depending on what your campus needs.

Ready to lead? Become a Campus Director

Every Campus Director is an ambassador first. Once a campus has at least 5 active ambassadors, two of them step up to lead the club: running the weekly meetings, keeping the team active, and being BMLSIA's main contact on campus. You don't need a separate form. Just tick the box in the application.
